L.U.V. Fashion Pack Fittings

Hi everyone!

On a recent trip to WalMart, I happened to find the new L.U.V. fashion packs. I couldn’t choose, so I made the very silly decision to get all of them. I saw a few others voice their interest in the packs, and I thought it would be nice to try them out on various dolls in my collection and share! This way, you can see if the packs or pieces you’re eyeing can fit any of your dolls.

As a disclaimer, my collection is rather small and I tried these packs on what brands were pretty popular amongst my circle of friends on Twitter/X. I hope there’s enough diversity for you to reference with your own dolls!

I tend to ramble a lot, so here’s a quick TL;DR for you:

• Barbie MTM Standard: Clothes do not not fit. Shoes are too big.
• Rainbow High: Does not fit.
• Bratz Standard: Everything but the shoes!
• Licca-Chan: Tops will be hard to put on (especially longer sleeves), can stay on, but may not velcro. Everything else can fit!
• Monster High G1 Standard: Everything but the shoes fit!
  • Given the above, the big sister and little sister bodies will likely be able to fit everything but the shoes.
• Monster High G3 Cleo: Everything but the shoes!
• Monster High G3 Draculaura: Tops can fit! Bottoms will mostly not fit, dresses are an exception. Shoes are too small.
  • Given the above, Monster High G3 Abbey will likely not fit any of the items. The standard, tall, and short bodies will likely be able to fit everything but the shoes.

As I mentioned, this was originally done on Twitter/X but I’m now aware that people who don’t have accounts on that site may not be able to see them. My thread was incredibly photo heavy and I don’t want to clog up the Dollect website’s servers, so I’ll only be posting the images of dolls that can fit any items. That being said, here is the link to the very lengthy thread if you’d like to see the photos in a bigger resolution/quality! I’m also willing to compile the image in a public Google Drive if people are really interested. I am also by no means a seasoned reviewer, so I won’t be going in depth about the stock appearance of each fashion pack. Furthermore, my opinion on how these clothes fit is simply that: my opinion. A great tailor may be able to make them fit!

Londynn

Bratz Standard

The dress is a little loose, but it’s not distracting. This pack also came with a fuzzy jacket which I’m sure can also fit, I just have difficulty putting jackets on dolls without removable hands and didn’t want to fight her. The shoes for this pack (and all following packs) will obviously not fit.

Licca-Chan

The sleeves are quite difficult to pull up because she has rubber arms, but it’s manageable. The dress has the slightest stretch, so I was able to velcro the dress closed. The shoes fit her perfectly!

+ bonus: Hashtag Licca!

A friend asked to see this specific pack on a Jenny. I don’t have a Jenny but I hoped that #Licca was closer in scale than a standard Licca. Again, the sleeves were difficult to pull up, but even more so as #Licca has a slightly bigger torso. I was unable to velcro the dress in the back, but she looks amazing from the front! The bottom of the dress may ride up if you move her around, but I’m certain she’d look beautiful on display. The sleeves of the fluffy jacket are short, but I feel that it could work being worn halfway. The shoes fit perfectly!

Monster High G3

Cleo looks absolutely incredible in this pack, no other notes. The bottom of the dress is a little tight on Draculaura, but the slight stretch allows it over her hips. The jacket fits both dolls well. The shoes for this pack (and all following packs) will not fit as they’re too small.

Autumn

Bratz Standard

Everything in this pack fits beautifully!

Licca-Chan

While the top can’t be velcroed, I still think it looks very lovely on Licca! While not pictured, the neck accessory did not fit: it was too small. Everything else fits well.

Monster High G3

Cleo fits every piece perfectly, but I feel the skirt sits a bit oddly. Draculaura cannot fit the skirt, and the material doesn’t have much give so I didn’t want to pull on it very hard trying.

+ bonus: Monster High G1 Standard!

I was asked to try this pack on a G1 body, and luckily I have a Jinafire! While nearly every piece fits, I have a few notes. The top fits beautifully. The skirt is a little big, but sits well. The neck accessory is a bit loose. The shoes do not fit at all, as they are too small. Regardless, I still think this pack looks really good on a standard G1 body! While I only tried out this pack, I believe G1 bodies would be able to fit the clothing pieces of the other packs as well.

Brooke

This pack comes with a working belt. Because of this, I assume it will be able to fit any doll.

Bratz Standard

While I think the skirt sits oddly due to the material, every piece fits!

Licca-Chan

The top can be worn and stay on rather well, but you cannot velcro the back. The skirt and shoes fit perfectly!

Monster High G3

Cleo fits this pack perfectly! Draculaura fits the top and has a little bit of trouble with the skirt; you won’t be able to velcro it. That being said, I’d say it doesn’t look too bad from the front!

Harper

This section is short and simple: Harper’s pack could fit everyone shown below!

+ bonus: Barbie MTM Standard!

I was holding out hope for this pack to fit. This fashion pack was the sole reason I had interest in the L.U.V. packs to begin with, and I really wanted to put this on my MTM Purple Odile… Sadly, it cannot velcro in the back. While the back could be ignored, I personally don’t like how the dress fits from the front. I’m sure a tailor could make this dress work somehow, but unfortunately I’m no seamstress. That being said, the fact that this dress has even managed to make it up to MTM Barbie’s shoulders makes me want to believe it may be possible with a G3 Abbey or a standard RH as well, but I don’t know 100%.

That’s all four packs! Truthfully, I picked up these packs in hopes of them fitting Barbie but I was very quickly humbled… Regardless, I still like these pieces and I’m excited to have more fashions in my collection. I hope this can help out anyone thinking of picking up some packs, and thank you so much for sitting through my rambling!
