Poppy Jr Transformation -

I’m reworking my Jr High Poppy for an instagram challenge, so come with me on a customization journey!

I bought mine from a dolly friend, who does custom RH dyes. So she came to me nude, with beautiful auburn hair.

First, I tried a bunch of different clothing pieces on her, to see what would fit. I only have two jr’s, so it was trial and error to put together outfits. She’s wearing stuff from a broad range of doll lines: RH, OMG, Barbie, OMG boys, Bratz, LOL Tweens.

My favorite of these 4 looks is the first one, with the bear glasses. Which do you like best?

I really didn’t like the orangey coral lip color, so I repainted with a pink paint marker. I love the simplicity of these markers — it makes little repaints so much easier for me! Then I decided that she needed more freckles, so I dotted on some bronze-brown paint with a toothpick, and did a few dots with gold paint marker.

I put her jacket back on and then it was time for photos! I take photos in my bedroom, with light from a west facing window. I just use my phone and a free photo editor app. I grabbed an empty gold frame, and draped a black scarf for the background.

Poppy is wearing all OMG clothing (it fits well, none pinned), with RH socks and boots. (The image quality is low, as I took a screenshot for dollect.)
