So…..yesterday I got my Pullip Asuka and she became one of my worst unboxing expeariences ever (╥﹏╥)
Got her new in box from Mandarake, just like many of my other asien dolls. Everything was going well until I undid the plastic thingie from her legs to free her lover part and it got torn apart (×﹏×) Then after a lil breakdown I was like “I can work it out, it’s gonna be OK”…..Nope! I slowly did the same thing around her torso and you’ve guessed it, the same f-ing thing happend (ﾉಥ益ಥ)ﾉ At that point I basicaly gave up on the red suit and tried to get her out of the package as fast as I could to get that hellish thing off her (╥_╥) The final “look” of it is shown on one of the photos. Then I just put her in her school uniform and called it a day….Though her shoes couldn’t fit her, so I gave her my #Yuiyui shoes, which fits her perfectly (just a bit loose). Also I never really liked how they dealt with her bangs. Her bangs are in the anime/manga very pointy and you can very clearly see her eyebrows. That’s why I decided to cut the bangs slightly to make them more spiky and pointier. It somehow worked, but at the same time I kinda f-ed it up (ಥ﹏ಥ) Before buying her I’ve seen few photos of the red suit being badly torn apart, but I simply didn’t think much of it, especially when mine is gonna be new and If I carefully take care of her everything’s gonna be fiiiiiine…..Hell nah I guess (￢_￢) It’s true tho that these type of clothes materials on dolls/figures don’t tend to last long and many defects can accour over the years, but THIS was literaly like scene from a horror movie!
Over all, I’m very dissappointed with the red suit, but at the same time I do really really like the doll. She’s such a cutie and I was gonna put her in her school uniform in the first place, so…..It’s not such a loss I guess. Though I’ll try to somehow repair the suit and will try to update u guys (￣▽￣)

She’s super cute ! I never thought avec the suit getting damaged like this, but it’s not a surprise actually. Some older outfits are really fragile, sadly !
Oh man, that’s pleather, isn’t it? It’s the WORST, especially the kind Jun Planning/Groove uses. I got an older Pullip bag out of storage recently and it basically crumbled in my hands. 0_0 That said, Asuka really is such a cute doll, I love her spunky face! I like what you did to her bangs also.
It’s most likely a pleather….I’ll try to dye the suit red. Maybe it will work ಥ_ಥ
