hiii! im poppypoppylovee on most social media platforms (except twitter with a third 'e'), and i collect & reroot jenny dolls and mermaze! i love making hybrids of mermaze and jenny dolls and i upload them often. i also love anime, vkei, kpop, and danmei! let's chat!!!

I've always been huge on dolls! I remember always begging my parents for them as presents, and my favorites were Monster High and Barbie movie dolls. My favorite MH character was Spectra, and I was obsessed enough to dress as her for Halloween as a kid. I also loved Abbey and the Blob girl from the Create-a-Monster lol. I especially love dolls with clear/glittery limbs and my favorites satisfy all of those qualities.

I only semi-recently got into collecting dolls as an adult, however. I got my first Licca doll in late 2021 after being inspired by someone's home decor featuring the Cinnamoroll licca. I bought her and the pink twin-drill cosmetic licca. I eventually ended up becoming absolutely obsessed, fullheartedly paying way overpriced dolls for my addiction. Later, I learned to browse Japanese websites, but it took me a while before doing so. I'm pretty sure my first Jenny doll was this one.

My first reroot was a Love Tamaki (or something) doll with red lips and brown hair. I decided to give rerooting a try because a seller on Ebay canceled my purchase of a Marie doll with highlighter yellow hair. I was devastated but still desparately wanted her, so I decided to recreate her with my (at the time) favorite Jenny friend doll. Yeah I failed miserably, and it looked even worse with an extremely bright hairstyle. However, recently (as of mid-2024), I redid her, this time blonde with pink streaks. She's the one I did a body swap with the Monroe Mermaze doll, if you look at one of my various accounts lol.

My rerooting skills have definitely improved a lot, but it's taken a year to get this far, so if you're reading and want to give it a try, do it! It might turn out iffy, but the practice is the most important part!
