I just bought this doll from a local online hobby shop here in Denmark. It seems to be old stock they found and put online. I think it’s made by VN-Legetøj (VN-Toys) which is a Danish Company.

You could try to pull each plug out with tweezers, making sure you aren’t leaving noticeable bald spots, or style in a way to cover those parts underneath, using gel, spray or mousse to keep it neat.
