We all love getting our dolls new accessories, right? What if I told you there are doll accessories that you can print out at home?
Here is Takara Tomy’s page for printable accessories for their Licca-chan’s playsets!
Each of the printable sheets is matched to one of Licca-chan’s playsets, but you don’t need to own the playsets in order to print these out! Here are some examples of what you can print out: books, posters, fliers, bags, party hats, food boxes, mats, phones, tablet computers… even swimming pools and TVs! All you need is a color printer, a pair of scissors and a little dexterity, and the sky’s the limit!
Obviously you’re going to want to print the accessories in color, preferably on slightly thicker and durable paper than standard copy paper (you may want to go for a copy shop for that, if you can access one; they’ll also make sure that the printing quality is correct) and/or paper that has a glossy finish to it.
This printable accessory sheet is probably my favorite. It is matched to a Licca-chan playset consisting in her room (rough translation: “Dreaming Licca-chan’s room with a loft”), so these are essentially accessories for her room. Look at all those pastel colors and cute designs! The accessories include four drawers/containers, a mat, a diary and two schoolbooks, letters, a mobile phone, a cupcake, a bag, a bottle of perfume, an alarm clock and more! This sheet is pretty text heavy– just remember that the pink arrows and the words おってね signal where you’re supposed to fold the paper.
Also interesting are the various sheets of printable accessories that are matched to Licca-chan’s big house playsets. The sheets matched to each of these three sets may appear similar at first glance, but they have a few interesting differences between them, and a little variety.
The oldest of the three sets is matched to this sheet. It lets you print out donuts, a dog food box, parrot food, letters, a tablet computer, a newspaper, pizzas and more.
This sheet is matched to the second dollhouse set. Some of the accessories are similar to those the first sheet, but this sheets includes more fruits and vegetables, books and magazines, and a full TV set that you can print out and fold so it has a front and a back! However, these need to be cut out more precisely, as the color does not extend past the lines that you’re supposed to cut.
The third dollhouse set is matched to not one, but three sheets of printable accessories! Here, once again, the color extends a little past the lines that you’re supposed to cut. The third sheet includes some repeat accessories from the previous two sheets. Aside from that, the focus here is on boxes that you can cut out and assemble. There are a pizza box, a home delivery parcel, a DVD box (you can print out the DVD disc, too!), a juice box, cat and dog food boxes and a bird food box. Other accessories across the three sheets include a pancake, a DVD disc, sunny-side-up eggs, a bag, snacks, a mobile phone, a remote, books and magazines.
These are just the four sheets that I thought were the most interesting, but feel free to look around the index page for some interesting finds! There is one that is kindergarten-themed and another that is matched to a veterinary clinic playset! Those are also among my favorites.
I am definitely going to try some of these, so please tell me about your experience with printable accessories for dolls!
Oooh, how fun! Licca is about 1/6 scale, right? I’m definitely going to try some of these!
