A doll line based on Australian television show H2O: Just Add Water was released by Playmates Toys in 2009.
Two lines of dolls was released, featuring the three lead characters of the (first two) series of the show – Rikki, Emma and Cleo – along with two playsets to go with the dolls. Each doll could transform from a human to a mermaid and back, using either a removable rubber tail or transforming fabric skirt. Initial prototypes of the dolls shown at 2009’s Hong Kong toy show feature slightly different outfits and faces to the final release.
