Lalaloopsy is a line of plastic rag dolls created by MGA, launched in 2010 briefly with the name “Bitty Buttons.” Each character is based on a fabric theme and the day that they were sewn on. The brand branched off widely to include many different lines, several with different scaling than the 13″ release, such as Lalaloopsy Minis (3″) and Lalaloopsy Girls (9″). Additionally, other spin-offs included dolls with gimmicky features, baby dolls, and even ponies.
In 2017, the line was rebooted in favor of an animated Netflix series. In 2021, MGA re-released various core dolls for the 10th Anniversary of the brand, as well as a few new characters.

Just wondering, is this database going to include the Littles? There’s a section for full-sized dolls but currently no littles, I know it’s under construction but I’d just like to know since I love them 🙂
Yes it is! We are planning on doing them after the main Full Size dolls!
Hey just wondering is the section for babies going to include the plush body babies ? Just wondering cuz I feel like it’s not something most people would collect n that would normally be left of the database.

Do you guys plan on adding the 10th anniversary rereleases and will they be in their own category?
I believe information on the rereleases will be added to the same character pages as the original releases, and note any differences between the two in the descriptions. We’ve been bouncing between our options on this which is why they haven’t been added yet!
