Rumoured Plans

After the release of Winter Waves, Mermaze Mermaidz was rumoured to be inactive and would not produce further dolls it had teased. However, the slumber party line teased in webisodes ended up being released in early 2024, so the remaining plans for Mermaze are currently unknown. Several prototypes of unrevealed characters known as “Sirenz” have been revealed through the second hand market. Along with these, there were more rumoured plans of including a “F2F” line, speculated to mean “Fins 2 Feet”. There were also three notable characters from the mermaze webisodes that did not receive dolls despite getting full 3D models.

Sirenz

Sirenz (also known as The Siren Sisters) was a line for Mermaze rumoured to be more budget budget friendly. The dolls themself appear to have a headsculpt and bodysculpt unique to the Sirenz line, along with an articulated “bend” in the tail and snap on plastic tops. Initially 3 doll prototypes were leaked for this line, showing the characters Sapphire, Nebula, and Hope. The leaked images appeared to be early on in development judging by the dolls lack of articulated arms. Later images leaked, revealing a 4th character known as Juniper and showcasing what the dolls would have looked like in box. The ownership of these prototypes and these images is currently unknown.
