Strawberry Shortcake (Kenner)
First Edition
This line of dolls was released in 1979. Notably, this was the only time that these characters were released with flat hands. However, as future characters came into the line, all the baby characters retain the flat hands for the rest of Kenner’s ownership of Strawberry Shortcake.

Classic (Wave 2)
In 1981, Kenner released four more friends, along with a second villain.
