TV Jones is a series of animal dolls created by REMCO in 1966. There were seven different characters, TV Jones, Pussy Meow, Mr. and Mrs. Mouse as well as three others known as TV Jones’ Playmates. Two other dolls were sold in 1967 with a treehouse and appear to be the children of Mr. and Mrs. Mouse though the packaging doesn’t specify. There were fashion sets, a car, furniture and, in the case of Mr. and Mrs. Mouse, a house! TV Jones and Pussy Meow came in TV-shaped, lunchbox-esque packaging like Remco’s Heidi dolls from a few years prior (also referred to as ‘Pocketbook dolls’). The TV Jones products lineup seemingly was discontinued after very little time, although the exact date is unknown.
