I thought i’d start by sharing my pfp, which is an unidentified G1 Draculaura (Second-Hand) in a thrifted pink sweater (Which I think came from a barbie??) and the skirt is from Draculaura’s Skulltimate Secrets Fearidescent Set. I’m currently moving so I threw together the outfit out of what I had left unpacked, so in future i’d like to change the skirt to be black/darker. I didn’t like the quality of the pictures, so i gave them a sorta grunge/alt edit :3 (The hair is super unmaintained because, as said before, I’m moving so shes been thrown around a lot in the process of packing lmao)

I really wonder which Drac she is, I just spent 20 minutes looking at every Drac ever released but I can’t tell 😭 I was thinking Picture Day at first, then maybe Fearleading pack or mayyybe one of the og rerelease (like 2015 or so) but honestly I don’t know 🥲 Anyway! She’s cute I like her sweater and the aesthetic you gave her! Can’t wait to see what she’ll look like when she’s done ^^

Oooh, I’m a super newbie to MH dolls so , but I also think it might be a 2015 original ghoul rerelease!! I think I saw something online about how the og rereleases for Draculaura had pointier heart marks?
Also, yes, cute restyle Claire, she’s giving “I’ve got 7am class but at least I’m comfy and cute” vibes.
Yes and also the very uneven eye placement and eyebrow shape makes me think it must be a 2015 rerelease! Her face looks so familiar I swear, it has to be a very common doll for sure 🥲

So she’s actually a 2008 release :3 I asked in a server im in and alot of people think shes from this set https://mh-merch.com/dolls/series/original-ghouls-collection/
But i had the same issue where I looked through so many dolls and certain features just didnt match up. Im really happy to have her though :>> i have afew other 2008 releases in my collection that i might share once I uplift them, one of them being a roller maze frankie and so far an unknown clawdeen, lagoona and duece. (Havent had the time to properly look into them)
not a 2008 release*** produced i think is the word?? The back of the heads say 2008 is what i mean by that (new to collecting the older dolls :33)
Ah I see! The 2008 is actually the year the sculpt was made, so pretty much all the older monster high characters (the main 6, probably up to Wave 3) have that 2008 date! But the doll you have is indeed a 2014/15 reproduction of those early main 6 mh dolls ^^ It can be really confusing haha, there’s a loooot of monster high dolls 😭
i know its crazy :0 I was only able to watch the movies and play with friends dolls as a kid since my parents were super strict about it so now im just trying to catch up on everything @.@ I’m super knowledgeable about g3 but g1/g2 are pretty foreign to me aside from the essentials :3
