I'm Melody, I'm 26, and I have spent the last decade working in the fields of animal cruelty investigation, funeral assistance, and substance addiction/homelessness. Dolls are my happy escape into something light-hearted and fun.

I have been collecting dolls since 2015. I am mostly into fantasy-themed dolls (fairies, mermaids, dragons, monsters etc) and Canadian-themed dolls, but I also appreciate Rainbow High and LOL OMG if the colours or themes make me happy.

I do not have a "collect them all" mindset and try to avoid collecting out of FOMO, my approach to collecting is very much "see it, think about it for 1-6 weeks, and buy it if I keep thinking about it".

I also collect Calico Critters and Care Bears if they speak to me!
