Bonjour, I’m French Barbie and I live in Paris, one of the most beautiful cities in the world! We are famous for food, fashion and much more. When you come to Paris, you must visit the Moulin Rouge, a nightclub famed for its dance hall and cabaret reviews. This is where they dance the cancan, a French dance known for high leg kicks that show off the legs of the dancers. I am wearing an authentic replica of a cancan costume. This festive look features a fitted blouse with a full pink skirt and high brimmed hat with a colorful feather. There are many famous French artists, like Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec who painted several beautiful paintings of cancan dancers. In Paris, you can visit the Louvre and the Jeu de Paume museums to see famous pictures by Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Claude Monet and Edgar Degas. But Paris is famous for more than just dancing! Of course you will visit the Eiffel Tower! Built in 1889 for the French Centennial Exposition, it was the tallest structure in the world until 1930. Climb to the top to see all of Paris! We have another great passion! In July, all of France stops to see who will win the coveted yellow jersey in the Tour de France. This bicycle race winds its way up and down the hills and roads of France and ends for the finishers with a ride down the Champs-Elysees through the Arc de Triomphe in Paris. Many people think French food is the best in the world! From the fresh baguette (a long, crispy loaf of bread) to five course meals at the best restaurants, food is always a popular subject. Stop at a delightful patisserie and you’ll be amazed at the assortment of baked delicacies for you to try. There is so much in Paris to see and do. You must visit soon.
