The Historical Characters are the origin of American Girl as a brand, and have served to help connect kids to history since the founding of the Pleasant Company in 1986. It was briefly known as the “Beforever” line before being switched back.

Hi there, hope you can understand that Dollect is a work in progress updated by volunteers who also have university and work to contend with in their day to day lives. I understand that it’s frustrating when pages don’t exist yet or images only have placeholders but i hope you can be patient with us as we work to get these pages up and running 🙂
